Weekend Workshops for Yoga Teachers — Dates and Details
Yoga Alliance CEu’s. Electives towards 300-hour certification. Personal Growth and Specialization
$299 per weekend | 10–12 CEU hours each | Hamburg, NY | Open to all 200-hour certified teachers
Continuing education at the pace your life allows.
You don't need to commit to a year-long training to keep growing as a teacher.
Each of these weekend workshops is a self-contained deep-dive into a specialized topic. Take one when the topic calls to you. Take another when your schedule allows. Build your advanced education at the pace that fits your life.
A weekend every quarter plus one or two specialty modules a year adds up to serious professional development — without ever committing to more than you can give.
Who these workshops are for.
Practicing teachers who want to specialize.
You've been teaching for a while. You're ready to go deeper on the topics that matter to your students — pain, trauma, anxiety, aging, somatic work — without enrolling in a full advanced program.
Teachers who need CEUs.
Each workshop is Yoga Alliance CEU-eligible. Three weekends a year keeps you current with continuing education requirements.
Teachers exploring whether a longer certification is the right fit.
When you've taken a few workshops and decide you want the full credential, you can apply for the Advanced Certification. Once accepted, your completed workshop hours count toward the certification. No re-paying, no credit-conversion process — the hours you've already done are hours you've already done.
Healthcare providers integrating yoga into their work.
Many of our workshop participants are nurses, therapists, and physicians using yoga clinically. The evidence-based approach translates directly to professional practice.

About the method behind the workshops
These workshops are part of the Deep Yoga Method — a pedagogically rigorous, evidence-based approach to teaching yoga developed over seventeen years. Learn more about the method and the full advanced certification pathway
Workshops as a Pathway
Many teachers start with a weekend and end up applying to the Advanced Certification a year or two later. We built the structure to support that.
If you take a workshop and later apply for the Advanced Certification, your completed workshop hours count directly toward your certification hours. You don't pay twice, and you don't lose credit. The workshop you took because it called to you becomes part of the larger education you build over time.
You're never obligated to pursue a certification. Many teachers take workshops year after year purely for continuing education, and that's a perfectly good use of these offerings. But if the path takes you toward something larger, we've made sure it can.

3
Sure! You can take as many as you like. There’s no limit and they are not designed to be taken in any order.
Will my workshop hours count if I apply for the Advanced Certification?
4
Yes. Workshop hours apply directly to certification hours once you've been accepted into the Advanced Certification — with no re-payment or conversion process. Workshops you've already taken count immediately upon acceptance.
5
What's the difference between a workshop and a specialty module?
Workshops are 10–12 hours over one weekend, focused on a single specialized topic. Specialty modules are 30 hours over two weekends, designed as comprehensive deep-dives into a population or clinical area. Modules also teach a specific modality of yoga such as private sessions, designing retreats, creating integration programs, etc.
