You are not alone in this—Mentorship for Yoga Teachers

No one tells you how to build a career as a yoga teacher.

I remember wishing that I had some guidance when I started teaching. I didn’t know the simplest things—did I need insurance, where should I start as a new teacher? I also remember being so anxious about approaching a studio and feeling really alone.

The mentorship program is designed to solve these problems, and even more so, help you to build a specialization and a career as a yoga teacher.

What we work on

  • Individualized feedback on your teaching

  • Pricing, insurance, and the business questions nobody covered in your 200-hour

  • How to approach a studio — and what to say when you do

  • Finding and developing your specialty

  • Research guidance, writing support, and editing

  • Career planning, and honest check-ins on how it's actually going

Students enrolled in the certification program or who book 5 or more sessions will be given a Teacher's Manual — the practical information a yoga teacher needs and otherwise learns the hard way.

Two ways to work with me

If you're in the Advanced Certification.

Individual advising is part of your program. We size the hours to what you're building — 4 to 12 hours of one-on-one time, plus your practicum, plus guidance through your independent study and body of work.

If you're not on the certification path. We can still work together. $145 per hour, scheduled around your life, on whatever you're facing right now — a class that isn't landing, a studio you want to approach, a workshop you've meant to build for two years. No application, no commitment beyond the next session.

Independent Study & Your Body of Work

For Certification Students

Over the length of your certification, you'll document and build your body of work from the trainings you take and your research into your area of expertise. As a former writer, researcher, and program developer with extensive knowledge in fields related to yoga, I'll give you a great deal of help and guidance.

You’ll receive a customized reading list for your specialty · resources in your area · contacts to explore for your presentation or meeting · individual advising throughout.

What's asked of you: personal practice and documentation · development of specialized sequences, class plans, private sessions, retreat plans, or business presentations · a research project and presentation in your area of interest · a teaching or offering practicum · regular reflection and integration

The Teacher’s Circle

For Any certified teacher—space is limited

Mentorship is one-on-one. The Circle is the room.

Teacher training gives you a beautiful community. It can feel like a loss when that ends. The Circle is where that continues — practice, a weekly class built for teachers, and a monthly case-study circle where we problem-solve together.

$99 a month — two classes a week, the weekly teachers' class, and the monthly circle. Eleven spots.
